(Project Based Learning)

  • Project Based Learning
  • Actual making through joint creation or individual creation
  • Individual skills demonstrated through portfolio and letters of recommendation, not GPA (graduation exhibition)
Reading 100 books
  • Fosters scientists and engineers who enjoy reading and contemplation
  • Provides insight into life and the world
  • Broadens perspective, and instills ability to see the forest
Exchange student and internship
  • Various social activities including student exchange and internships at public/private institutions
  • Fosters mature individuals based on awareness of real-world issues, identification of challenges faced by humanity, and interactions with various people
P/NR Grade Marking System
  • Assigning P(Pass) for fulfilling a certain level of grade or higher, and NR(No Record) for lower grades
  • (Enhance adaptability of freshmen) Enhance freshmen’s ability to adapt to campus life and improve the learning environment to support fostering of talent in science and technology
  • (Expand opportunities for challenge and experience) Provide an environment for students to experience challenges in various fields and expand opportunities for exploration of majors to produce next-generation leaders of science and technology
