Required credits for graduation
At least 136 credits

Major
At least 42 credits
- Major mandatory: 21 credits
At least 9 credits of Reading Great Books on Human Intelligence and Civilization (Humans, Society, Life, Arts, Technology, or Universe) and at least 12 credits of Making Technological Solutions for Social Innovation (Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ, Ⅴ, or Ⅵ) should be earned.
- Major elective: 21 credits
It is recommended to additionally earn at least 9 credits of Reading Great Books on Human Intelligence and Civilization (Humans, Society, Life, Arts, Technology, or Universe) and at least 12 credits of Making Technological Solutions for Social Innovation (Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ, Ⅴ, or Ⅵ).

- Based on personal career designs, students may earn credits in major courses in other departments as their major electives after obtaining approval of the undergraduate curriculum review committee.
- Based on personal career designs, key areas for each student may be indicated in transcripts.
Advanced major
At least 12 credits of major electives

Minor

- At least 18 credits in major mandatory courses
Double major

- At least 42 credits in major courses including 21 credits in major mandatory courses
Research
At least 3 credits
- 3 credits in Graduation Research (Credits taken from other departments can be approved)

Transitional measures
Students admitted in or before 2020 may, if they desire, be subject to the requirements applicable to students admitted from 2021.
